Position :VP (or Sales Director)in Sales International and National
Reporting to :CEO


Languages Required:Chinese and English

Qualifications:  
Tertiary qualifications from a recognized university in management, marketing or business.

A broad understanding of the industry, particularly in respect of web advertising and the ways in which media coverage and budgetary spend are formulated.
    
Requirement of a broad and extensive knowledge of all PGL/ESL advertisement media & sports events together with the ability to communicate the benefits of their use to the advertisers and to job holders reporting to the post.

Knowledge of the way advertising agencies and web advertisement specialists operate and their special requirements.

Personal Attributes:Sound commercial acumen and judgment.
 
Requirement of strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
 
Ability to use audiovisual presentation aids and equipment as required.
 
Self motivated with the ability to lead and inspire a successful team.
                        
Flexibility to meet the company’s ever changing sales requirements.
             
A willingness to represent the company in a manner befitting a responsible Senior Manager, promoting the best interests of the company, and appearing smart and well presented when on company business.

Ability to overcome the trials and stresses associated with working in a competitive sales environment.

Willingness to travel for meetings, courses etc, against other commitments.


Job Purpose:    
Responsible to CEO for achievement of pre-determined agreed personal and overall sales revenue and production targets for PGL /ESL advertising products.
  
Responsible to the CEO for the efficient and effective management of all Sales Managers and staff reporting to the job occupier.

To communicate the company Vision to all team members - lead and inspire towards achieving it.

Ensuring that the company’s agreed minimum standards applicable to sales activity and achievement are met personally and by jobholders reporting to the SD.

Ensuring that prices quoted are in accordance with Company Policy and that job holders reporting to the SD adhere to Company Policy on pricing.

The management of all job holders reporting to the SD including recruitment, training, control,motivation, strategy and the implementation of required disciplinary proceedings.

Ensure that the quality of proposals and formal presentations by jobholders reporting to the post are of an acceptable standard.

Maintaining and developing business relationships with our customers and franchise partners.

Monitoring the activity and level of performance of jobholders reporting to the post in this task and assisting individuals as necessary.

Widening the company’s regional customer base by sales presentations to prospective advertisers to help grow the brand in China.

Analysis of sales activity reports provided by sales managers reporting to the post and providing a regular report to the Management summarising departmental performance against budget and target requirements for all product groups.

Organising, arranging and participating in Management meetings, training programs, presentations and special events as required.  Mobility and willingness to travel as required on behalf of the company to maximise sales potential.
  
Being alert to competitive products and practices ensuring that information provided by jobholders reporting to the post is circulated to others as appropriate.

Ensuring that customer records are kept and updated as appropriate to the efficient and effective running of  the Chinabusiness.
    
Ensuring that a high standard of Customer Service is maintained from:
  - Completion of appropriate paper work.
    - Deal with any customer enquiry or complaint.
    - Advise other departments within the company and take the appropriate action toresolve it.
   
To prepare and submit ad hoc information and/or reports as required by the company from time to time.

Contributing and assisting in the formulation of sales, production and expenditure budget and targets – deliver / keep within them.

To carry out any such additional duties as required by the company from time to time meeting the exigencies of the business.
